THE WORLD DOESN'T NEED
MORE SWIPING.
THRSHLD is a venue-based dating and social app built around a simple idea: the person you want to meet might already be in the room.
Dating apps were supposed to help people meet.
Somewhere along the way, using the app became the activity. THRSHLD is designed to put the real-world interaction back at the center.
Instead of making location just another search radius, THRSHLD uses supported real-world venues as the context for discovery. That means colleges, concerts, stadiums, arenas, casinos, nightlife, theme parks and other places where people are already sharing the same moment.
Same place.
Same moment.
THRSHLD is designed to help eligible, verified people discover potential connections at the same supported venue while they're actually there.
The goal isn't to replace meeting someone in real life. It's to make that first connection easier to recognize.
Right Now.
Shared location gives every connection immediate context. Verification helps keep the people behind those connections authentic.
From the screen to the real world.
Real people matter.
Identity and photo verification are built into key parts of the THRSHLD experience. Venue-aware access, reporting and blocking tools are designed to support more authentic real-world interaction.
Built in Southern California.
THRSHLD was founded in 2026 and is currently in beta testing on iPhone and Android.
The company is led by Founder, CEO and Lead Developer Ed “Caz” Cazares, alongside COO Ethan Howie.
THRSHLD is building toward one mission: create technology that helps real people make real connections in the places where life is already happening.
The person you're looking for might already be in the room.
