THRSHLD™
TRUST & SAFETY

Safety at THRSHLD

THRSHLD is designed around authentic, venue-based interaction. Verification, reporting, blocking, and venue-aware access are part of that approach.

Be respectful

Users are expected to interact respectfully and lawfully. Harassment, threats, hate, exploitation, impersonation, non-consensual sexual content, scams, and other abusive behavior are not appropriate on THRSHLD.

Identity and authenticity

THRSHLD may use liveness and face-comparison technology to help verify that users are real and that profile photos correspond to the person using the account. Users must not attempt to impersonate another person or bypass verification controls.

Venue-based access

Some THRSHLD features are designed for people physically present at supported venues. Location-based controls help preserve that context. Users should not attempt to spoof or manipulate venue-presence requirements.

Reporting and blocking

THRSHLD provides or may provide tools to report and block users. Reports may be reviewed for safety, policy, abuse, or security concerns, and THRSHLD may take action on accounts that violate its rules.

Meeting people in real life

  • Use your own judgment before interacting with or meeting another person.
  • Stay in public or populated areas when meeting someone new.
  • Tell a trusted person where you are when appropriate.
  • Protect financial, identity, and account information.
  • Leave an interaction if you feel unsafe or uncomfortable.

Emergencies

THRSHLD is not an emergency service. If you believe you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or venue security.
